I worked alongside our CEO and CFO throughout an IPO process that resulted in Unity being the largest software IPO in a decade. This included selecting bankers, analysts, due diligence, and setting economics. After the IPO I was a trusted advisor across Unity’s executive and managerial ranks where I provided a 360-degree view of how our ecosystem of investors, competitors and customers think and respond.

Led and helped to build a world-class team of enterprise software analysts. My stock recommendations ranked me as number two among 5,000+ analysts for the 2010-20 period. Identified, advised and assessed several thousand companies, leading to over 100 IPOs, including several iconic companies such as Workday, HubSpot, MongoDB, Shopify, Veeva, Bill.com, Okta and Elastic.

Over a ten year period, our software research and banking team built the franchise to become a perennial top producer at Needham. Worked closely with some of the best companies to emerge in that era including Ansys, Kronos, Salesforce, Ultimate Software, Autodesk, and Adobe.

Advanced from producer to player-coach in which I ran two research departments and one capital markets group at the three firms that eventually merged to become RBC Capital Markets.
