The Charity exists to ensure that our sailors, marines, and their families are valued and supported for life.As part of the Charity's busy fundraising team based at its offices in Portsmouth, this role has seen me develop new areas of income in the Wales and Western England region as well as re-launch our National volunteering programme. As a Regional Fundraiser, I have a focus on maximising engagement with the charity’s supporters from within the Naval Service and affiliated groups, the wider public and corporate sector in the Wales and Western England region (matching the region of the Naval Regional Command structure).In my first year I have developed and re-written the Charity's policies and procedures surrounding the volunteering programme.
