To assist the Branch Manager in the administration and control of the branch, to provide leadership and training to branch staff, and to demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary for promotion to Branch Manager. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/DELINQUENCY CONTROL 1. Extend credit within lending authority, evaluate risks and approve loans. 2. Actively market all branch products and services to local businesses including business development to dealers in the community. 3. Collect past due accounts including skip tracing, inside and outside adjustment activities, repossessions and bankruptcies. Adjust contract terms. TRAINING/SUPERVISION 1. Maintain a thorough knowledge of branch staff functions and Federal and State laws. Train and direct the activities of other branch employees. 2. Responsible for branch activities in the manager's absence. Provide relief management to other offices in the district. 3. Assist in the selection and evaluation of branch employees. 4. Assist Branch Manager in compliance with company policies and state and federal laws. 5. Complete assigned training to prepare for MCC. BRANCH SUPPORT 1. Provide customer service by greeting and assisting persons entering the office and persons contacting the office by phone. 2. Prepare branch reports and provide analysis and recommendations based on this information on how the branch can become more profitable. Maintain Appropriate Position Documentation. Perform all other duties as assigned by Management. LENDING & COLLECTIONS:1. Meet loans goals in the lending areas of Mortgages, Retail Finance and Consumer Finance. 2. Collections and skip tracing to ensure branch profitability. 3. Build customer and retail dealer rapport to secure return business and profit.
