I am the ISO 9001:2015 Management Representative and Quality Coordinator at N-Stock Box, Inc., a locally owned company that designs and manufactures corrugated fiberboard packaging products. In this role, I establish, implement, and maintain quality management system processes. In addition to the management team, I work with outside auditors, vendors, sales representatives, customers, and employees from every department. Although N-Stock Box, Inc. had a quality management system in place before I began working there, like me, they were ready for some changes. I have enjoyed working with the president and human resources manager. They have encouraged me to present new and innovative ideas and have moved forward with some bold changes. I am excited to be a part of it. Before joining N-Stock Box, I worked at Mountain Tarp/Wastequip LLC for nearly a decade. During this time, I played many different roles and learned a lot about the tarpaulin and transportation industries. I started my time there as an industrial sewing machine operator. As I became more knowledgeable, I took on various roles in customer service, sales, supervision, office administration, employee training, safety coordinator, and also received many managerial duties. After becoming the branch Safety Coordinator, I worked one on one with the Health and Safety Director to implement some great programs at that location. After getting these programs in place, we welcomed random safety audits. I find the work I do to be rewarding. I enjoy having creative freedom and utilizing my writing skills to develop new processes, procedures, work instructions, educational materials, etc. I also like applying my analytical skills to create value-added KPI and focus on continuous improvement.I am always interested in hearing from former colleagues, those involved in the health and safety industry, ISO 9001, design, or anyone who has an idea to share. Feel free to reach out if you would like to connect.
