Covid-19 Analysis Of Network Transmission In Schools In The Uk
This was a work placement/ dissertation project for 3 months. I worked on a time-varying survival model that studied the attributes that could contribute to schools in England reporting their first cases of COVID-19 between September - and December 2020. Objectives: - To prove that school connectivity networks may influence certain attributes thatcontribute to the first reported cases of COVID-19 in schools; a school connectivitynetwork must be built based on the pupil database. - Create relationships through other data sets such as the school data set to studymore plausible attributes involved in the first cases of school reporting COVID-19. - Connect school data and pupil data to build a school-pupil matrix that will holdall the attributes required for the method proposed to evaluate COVID-19 cases inschools. The matrix was then held in a data table with all attributes together - a sample test was intiially considered for faster computing time but, optimising the matrix helped to then use all data merged on both school and pupil tables. - Visualise a map-based point diagram created to showcase the connectivity of schools. This was built using a matrix algorithm in R and then visualized using point connectivity between the distances between two schools aggregated by house postcodes of every student in the study. - Implement the Cox Proportional hazard model with time-varying covariates toevaluate what attributes contribute to the first cases of COVID-19 in schools.- Evaluate the performance and validity of the Cox Proportional model. It was concluded that other than prevalence rate no significant evidenceto justify the other factors in this study can be associated with the level of risk reportedCOVID-19 school cases. The models can be improved using the stratification of the two school-level groups observed to gain a better conclusion.
International Director(Volunteer)
I was working a side volunteer role with a non-profit organization, Metanoia International as director. The firm focuses on helping out in projects that help out with education needs in different charities. Our main aim in this firm is to help close the education disparity being a current issue. We hope to contribute in various forms currently working on fundraisers to raise money for a charity we had partnered with Ripple Africa briefly. - Actively looking for organizations that help out with education needs around the world and work with them. I am mainly focusing on international projects. - Communicate and build relationships with various charities in the education sector. - Aid in planning of fundraisers and donations to contribute to working partners.
Prediction Analytics Tool For Epidemiology Outbreak
This is my research project for my final year. I have obtained a first class honours. The project is analyzing two machine learning methods, Support Vector Machines, and K- Nearest Neighbour, that will be used to predict the next epidemiology outbreak. Moreover, training both algorithms on WHO datasets(Influenza) based on gender, location, and age. Successfully created prediction algorithms for both machine learning techniques and use data visualization, GVis maps to showcase the test results of each country chosen.

I had published, created and edited pages according to the needs of logged requests. • Supportworks is a system I had used to deal with any logged requests, it was a new experience to handle a lot of requests in a certain timeframe. It taught me how to be efficient. • I had the opportunity to also venture on improving the website with Siteimprove. I had worked on inline sytling and misspellings. The site was an learning experience where I had learned to work with SEO optimization.

Intern
• Assigned a Database task analysing data of the fiscal year for 2015-2016. The database consisted of different companies that they were collaborating with. I had to analyse any missing data for meetings or events that they had held, who their sectors were.Identify if the events help generate more jobs to the the different companies. • Communicating with team members to understand the database and suggest ways to improve. I had made a suggestion of pivot tables, self-taught but had failed to fully implement it in this database. • Review targets, and review data to see if there were any reasons for failure to meet targets, check for missing data, find the data if possible through MS Access database.
