I worked in the Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences Branch of Leidos Innovations Center (LInC)- High-Level Problem Solving- Complex System Design & Integration- Building Prototypes- Designing and Running Tests- Coordinating with SubcontractorsI also acted as the Partner Relationship Management Chair for the Leidos Young Professionals Network - San Diego Branch. Through this role on the executive board I had the opportunity to plan and run events, with a focus on team building, expanding networks within Leidos, and work-life balance.

I work as a part of the mechanical design team in order to deliver design plans for HVAC and piping systems for construction projects of all shapes and sizes. Which requires us to collaborate with a various different disciplines in order to deliver the customers a complete project.I make use of powerful software tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and EnergyPro in order to design new HVAC systems and confirm the best possible options for creating energy efficient cooling and heating solutions for our customers.

I worked as a project engineer, where I learned how small teams are able to manage major projects in the construction industry. I learned how to write change orders, requests for information, and startup documentation. I was also able to coordinate progress and problems that we were facing during the project with other contracting companies in order to develop solutions and maintain appropriate progress on the project in order to meet the customer's deadlines.

I interpreted blueprints from customers and convey manufacturing instructions to other team members. I also created custom solutions for masking parts with SolidWorks and 3D printing (additivemanufacturing) technologies, which has led to countless hours of hand masking being saved. I researched various materials (3D printable or moldable) for use in the masking process.

As the technology support coordinator I worked many roles. I worked on sales forecasting and data analytics based on previous years sales, I was able to organize the sales numbers in order to show growth based on state, reseller, and customer. I also attended several national trade shows where I demonstrated the durability and longevity of the headphones to prospective clients.I also developed a google sheets addition that allowed our internal teams to access a map view of all of our sales representatives based on their physical location as well as the territory they service in the United States.
