Conduct all outreach operations for the 24th district, which covers large portions of Tarrant and Dallas Counties.(Fort Worth, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Colleyville, Grapevine, Southlake, Irving, Coppell, Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Plano and Dallas)Plan and coordinate all district events, including receptions, public meetings, convention booths, Veterans Fair, Eagle Scout Event, Identity Theft Forum, Congressional Art Competition, Senior Center events, etc.Develop communication strategies in addition to composing and editing all district communications. This includes composing entries into the Congressional Record, Speeches, and constituent correspondence, which entails working directly with constituents, local businesses and other interests to ensure their federal and legislative needs are addressed and their concerns are adequately responded to.Manage a constituent relations portfolio of over a dozen fortune 500 companies, fifteen cities, DFW International Airport, and countless organizations, businesses, and constituencies within the 24th Congressional District.Additional duties include: Casework, State Legislator relations, district scheduling, driver, logistics and travel planning, speechwriting/coaching and editing, public speaking and award presentations, Congressional Record composition and presentation, photographer/videographer, photo/video editing, graphic development, social media management, media relations, and strategic media planning.

• Manage the statewide casework operations for veterans, agricultural, environmental, and financial issues.• Interact with numerous agencies and stakeholders to explain and assist with the implementation of legislation, especially where veteran and agricultural matters are concerned.• Assist Senator Cornyn in public outreach efforts and community relations in the North Texas region.• Regularly mediate disputes and provide conflict resolution services for constituents and federal agencies.• Additional duties include Correspondence Composition, Office Management, Archivist, Intern Coordination, Staff Selection and Development, Website Design and Maintenance, Vendor Liaison, IT administrator.
