-Performs quality diagnostic imaging studies using proper technical imaging factors.-Prepare and assure that physician and patient orders are accurate and are forwarded to the office in a timely manner.-Analyze patient’s body size, physical conditions, age and any abnormalities in order to determine proper technical factors for x-ray examination.-Positions and handles with high degree of safety and professionalism. Provides protection in accordance with safety standards and sets up radiation protective shielding required for maximum protection.-Directs and practices sterile technique to prevent cross contamination.-Ensure critical thinking for proper positioning of patient when patient mobility is compromised.

-Operate radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians, and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. -Coordinates with physicians and all hospital staff to provide quality care and patient safety. -Participates in hospital-wide performance improvement and customer service programs. Serves on all appointed committees.
