Rhett serves as VP of Engineering at Pogoseat, a technology company that helps deliver a better experience to concert and sporting patrons. Pogoseat provide fans with the ability to upgrade to premium seats at competitive prices while providing customers access to special events, experiences, and merchandise through our different products. Rhett works with clients to brainstorm ways to offer new features and streamline our product using their current technologies. This translates into high-level architectural decisions in our internal infrastructure as well as third party integrations. Rhett works with the rest of the Pogoseat team on innovating our product while maintaining stability and performance. Rhett brings his history in gaming to help understand how to develop a product that is engaging with a seamless user experience. He also has knowledge of how several different entertainment platforms work, which help him develop new integrations with third party systems.

Assisted developmental learning for high school and college students in the basic principals of engineering and programming in 5 different classes over 4 semesters.Devised lesson plans and labs with the professor to foster critical thinking and hands on instruction. Instructed and assisted students with lessons and labs for introduction to Java and HTML/JavaScript

Music Discovery • Developed a music discovery project to help the public better understand and become involved in music through a “tagging” and quiz game, utilizing all kinds of multimedia. • Generated the flash front and GUI layout, back end utilizes PHP and MYSQL.
