Digital Lifeware provides fully managed, white label services and systems to retailers for on demand sales of digital content, both pure digital download/streaming and manufacture on demand of physical product in store. Digital Lifeware provides a full range of services and systems covering content acquisition, ingestion, transcoding and aggregation, management and curation, royalty, rights and entitlements management to full ecommerce and transaction management.

PacTel information communications technology (ICT) systems integrator and consultancy. Clients including Mayne Nickless, Boral, Caltex, Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Lend Lease, CSIRO, NICTA, the federal Department of Health, the University of Western Sydney, Alcatel, Avaya and Macquarie Corporate Telecommunications. Projects range from national integrated voice and data networks to facilitating the research agenda for CSIRO and NICTA.

Xone (pronounced “Zone”) was one of the first Wi-Fi hotspot Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP’s) in Australia. Xone installed the first WiFi service in a shopping mall, Greenwood Plaza, in co-operation with the developers and owners, Mirvac. Xone pioneered “registration in the zone”, the first ability to sign up for services in the hotspot.

Biztone, a pioneer developer and provider of java based accounting applications sold as web services. Known at the time as Application Service Provision (ASP), Biztone pioneered many of the concepts now known as Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud computing. Biztone was based in Singapore, with a development facility in Kuala Lumpur and offices in Australia and the US.

TransGlobal Exchange was a facilities based, international, wholesale telephony carrier in a major Asian market.

Network Solutions was the pioneering LAN systems integrator in Australia. Rhett sourced a major contract for $2M within 6 months of joining the company on an annual sales target of $1M

Network Automation was a joint venture between Techway Ltd and the CSIRO to manufacture and market CSIRO’s Australian developed X.25 data packet switch network equipment technology. Rhett grew sales from $1M to $7M in 18 months on an annual sales quota of $2M. He was responsible for a $1M award of sale by Prospect Electricity. He then established the New Zealand office where he was responsible for a $5M sale and contract with the NZ Ministry of Defence.

Ferranti was a large UK IT&T engineering conglomerate with offices in Australia. Rhett commissioned training simulators in the UK and Australia and successfully sold systems to government, defence and commercial clients.
