I joined as part of Fresh Egg’s Academy: a 12-month training programme as a web analyst, involving comprehensive training, client work and self-study. Working as part of a smaller team within the wider HR department, I’ve handled monthly auto-enrolment duties and contributions processes, including invoice submissions to relevant parties. The role involves assisting in requesting retirement quotes, processing retirements, and answering any general pensions-related queries.

The role involved an element of handling complaint handling, advancing to senior team members where appropriate. Prior to my promotion, I helped to establish prototypes of a customer call log for the team, and standardised email responses for more common queries.

This role involved working for a Legal 500 law firm as part of a 6-person reception team. I provided high-quality customer service via email, phone (switchboard operation), and in-person, handling sensitive queries in a variety of different legal areas. Managed meeting room and refreshment diaries, and ensured areas were ready and presentable for clients. The role also involved collecting and distributing post internally and externally, and facilitating mailshots for marketing and legal purposes. I assisted the manager in creating weekly rotas for our team, and facilitating postage purchases through the Royal Mail OBA.
