In accordance with the way I handled our patients, I was made Customer Carer, and asked to give tips and reminders to my much more experiences colleagues - some had been working for 10 years - and asked to monitor the Customer Care reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed the Recruitment aspects, from starting to advertise a position and then handling the applicants, building up to interview level and organising the locations, communicating with managers and keeping the candidates informed, requesting references and eventually appointing the successful candidate. My work continued afterwards as I sorted out contract and payroll details, and then even some weeks after, when they were in the position, would I hear feedback and be available for other queries. All of our positions had to be within the Recruitment Standards and Timeline as set our for the Council.What I really was enthusiastic about was when I received projects to develop the website, or when I was asked to modify documents for ease of access and to keep in line with our Conditions of Service.
