I was a stylist, creative director and set designer in the fashion industry where my creative talents saw me create campaigns, editorials and events for the likes of Coach US, BBC Scotland, Vogue Arabia and many more.

During this home-based internship, I was given a number of scripts to read and judge which would the best suited to move up the different stages of Lift-Off's scriptwriting competition.It was a wonderful experience where I got to use my knowledge of script formatting and expertise in proofreading and screenwriting to whittle down the projects to just one winner each time. I had to make use of spreadsheets and Lift-Off's own online filing system to mark my favourites and keep track of my progress.

I was appointed head of the costume for the production of a feature film, a role which included character profiling and analysis, costume design, control over budget, liaising with crew and dressing cast members while keeping in line with Corona Virus guidelines and adjusting all of my plans to keep up to date with script and schedule changes.Since this role was during COVID lockdown, much of my work was done remotely, liaising with cast and crew over Zoom and email. This often saw me making large, detailed presentations showing where every penny of the budget was going, exactly what it was going on and my justification for why this would be the best choice given the time, budget and logistical restraints. These were often changed and updated quickly as scenes and character arcs were altered.
