Marketing Communications Manager at global, luxury eyewear brand, Tom Davies, my role included:- Working with senior management to successfully deliver the international PR and Marketing strategy across both the consumer­ facing and wholesale divisions of the business.- Writing and editing copy for all on and offline PR and Marketing collateral.- Engaging with national and international consumer press publications, luxury and lifestyle websites and influential bloggers. Responding to interview requests, sending product samples, gifting, arranging press days, and tracking and reporting on all coverage.- Creating and implementing the brand’s social media strategy across all platforms.- Organising the Tom Davies Global Tour 2015/16, a series of training events and design sessions held in eight different countries, over a ten­ month period. - Assisting with the planning, design and execution of stands at global optical trade shows and exhibitions. Responsible for all promotional activity within the international trade press.- Allocating advertising budget to chosen publications following editorial and product placement negotiations. Project managing the running of each advertising campaign, and drafting and presenting quarterly coverage reports.

My role included:- Designing Marketing material for targeted campaigns and industry events, adhering to budgets, meeting targets and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.- Maintaining and updating the Sentronex group websites via WordPress to maximise SEO, and monitoring and reporting on visitor activity using Google Analytics and Lead Forensics.- Maximising PR opportunities using Response Source, writing and distributing press releases, reacting to editorial requests and building relationships with industry ­relevant journalists.- Planning for industry awards season, submitting applications and arranging attendance.
