I love a challenge; I love working with people and finding solutions. From starting my career working for my parents' businesses, transitioning into service delivery environments within the Private Sector, and then landing feet first in the Australian Government, I love to push myself. By the time I was just getting into college, I helping both of my parents with their day-to-day business operations. From financial reconciliations, to copy drafting, and web development, I did what I could to expand my skill base. This has been the foundation to my hunger for learning. When I entered the workforce, I started my career as a customer service operator. I worked in multiple different industries, but my prime focus was the same: deliver outstanding service with customer focused outcomes. I have always been a big promoter of Customer Service, and the 'Customer is King' concept. After winning a role within the Australian Government, I brought this mentality with me. In a contracting and procurement role within Defence, I am working with customers to build relationships and work toward solutions that comply with legislation. I love being able to find outcome based solutions that help my customers achieve their objective. When I'm not building solutions for my customers, I'm generally at home with my little menagerie of animals, in my garage working on my next project, or gaming with my closest mates. This helps me stay grounded, and present in the 'today'. I have always believed in those self-care philosophies which can keep us sane in such a fast-paced world.
