As the Senior Developer for Nodat, I oversee a team of developers rebuilding a web platform and building a mobile app from scratch. On top of developing reports for the exectutive team, I designed the architecture and databases. I am also involved in hands on in code development and review. Mentoring and training newer developers in best practices and the ins and outs of programming is also part of my job that I really enjoy.As a result of my efforts and those of my team, everything was up and fully operational in 9 months.

Wrote the back end API using python and Django Rest Framework. Created the database/database schema, Built out the microservices architecture for the website and app to run off of. Built out and oversaw a team of developers to create the UI and build out the mobible apps and website.

Upgraded magento to lastest version, including the updating 20+ custom extensions to work with latest version. Also created multiple new extensions as requested to meet business goals and requirements.

Fixed major bugs/issues with Laravel backend for client application so that project could be completed on time. Worked with front end developers to ensure that everything worked as expected. Dockerized the application.

Wrote automated python scripts to update the sites database. Updated the companies website as needed/required.

Worked with one other team member to integrate the technology and code from a company we purchased into our environment. Worked on implementing new features and functionality into the companies platform. For the last year, I was the only individual in the company fixing bugs in our legacy application my last year.
