As a Manager, I was responsible for the running and commercial performance of my store. My main areas of work involved: reaching sales targets and increasing profits, dealing with customer service issues such as queries and complaints, I was committed to the needs of the customer. I was also involved in staff management, including interviewing, recruiting.

I committed my time within a new established business. My role entails, photocopying, filing, assisting with the recruitment and selection process, understanding companies policies and procedures, training new staff, preparing and issuing contracts to new employees, dealing with payroll, timesheets, writing job adverts and managing employees lateness and.

My duty as a deputy manager was to ensure the day to day operations, such as; administration work, recruiting, stock taking, achieving goals and targets by motivating my team members and myself, also providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service.

As a weekend supervisor I was in charge of a wide range of tasks within the store, including running the shop floor, and of course, ensuring customers received high quality service from both myself and those I supervised. I worked my way up to a management position in Dorothy Perkins through consistently demonstrating a high commitment to customer service.

Whilst at University I sort areas to progress in my professional development.Within this large trading services company; I registered and issued documentations and handled other general administrative tasks that supported the liaison with engineers, customers and housing associations.

As my first job in the UK I developed my customer service skills and how to effectively deal with the smooth running of the day to day business. This enabled me to gain excellent customer service and dealing with complex situations in a stressful environment.
