I am an adult nurse practitioner currently practicing in ambulatory care as well as in a busy CVICU. I have also expanded my practice into medical aesthetics where I am the medical director for a small start up. Prior to my work as a Nurse Practitioner, I was a recipient transplant coordinator in the Islet Transplant Program in Edmonton, Alberta. I also have experience in kidney/pancreas transplant, pediatric liver, pediatric heart and small bowel transplants. In addition to my professional nursing history, I have volunteered overseas in Asia, South America and West Africa. I have also received a Diploma in Tropical Nursing from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London, England to aid my interests in volunteer nursing.
