I am a powerful business leader with an extensive background in energy, technology, transition, operations and change management across multiple industries in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. I have a unique combination of strategic, operational and leadership skills. In my executive career as Executive Chair and Managing Director of Vix Technology I developed and implemented a transformational strategy for a business facing significant change. As Chief Operating Officer at HRL Morrison and Company, a boutique infrastructure investment manager in Australia and New Zealand, investing funds for three significant Sovereign Wealth Funds in New Zealand and Australia and Infratil, I led the strategy for acquisition and divestment of assets, including in 2014 acting as the Managing Director of a major Australian energy company, building the sales strategy and successfully divesting the business. Prior to this role I ran my own business, designing and managing major organisation transitions, including bringing a major oil company from global to local ownership. As a former CEO in the New Zealand software industry, and senior executive of a significant TransTasman ICT businesses for major clients, I have current expertise in respect of the future possibilities in that industry. My ICT industry experience of over 20 years, coupled with an MSC in Telecommunications Engineering and Business Management from University of London, provides me with an in-depth understanding of the exciting strategic choices that face us. I have exceptional leadership, customer and interpersonal relationship skills.
