I am the Chief Nursing Officer at Rochelle Community Hospital in Rochelle Illinois. I have worked in this position since March of 2020. I started my nursing career in December of 1997 and worked in the Chicagoland area until October 1998. I started working at Rochelle Community Hospital in November of 1998 as an ICU and PACU nurse. I accepted a management position in July of 2005 and worked the next fifteen years in management before accepting the Chief Nursing Officer position. I worked fourteen years at this critical access hospital but also had the pleasure of working for one year at a level one trauma center in Rockford Illinois before returning home to Rochelle! I am very passionate about nursing and love what I do. Someone once told me that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life! Some days are more challenging than others, but what an awesome career I have chosen! I believe in Jesus Christ and thank him everyday for this wonderful life.
