I am postdoctoral scholar in the lab of Dr. Giuli Dussias. I am currently consulting with students and faculty at Penn State University of electrophsysiological studies (ERP). I am also managing a collaborative project with Dr. Giuli Dussias that focuses on our mutual research interest, code-switching.

I worked in the SoundLab of Dr. Matt Goldrick. I worked in a laboratory within the Linguistics department that studies mechanisms of speech production and perception in mono- and bilingual speakers. I was a postdoctoral fellow there and I managed a project investigating speech production in populations that may be more susceptible to disruptions during planning (e.g., bilinguals and older adults).

I was a graduate student researcher in the Language and Cognition Lab (Purple Lab) at Penn State University. While at Penn State I conducted independent research examining processes of speech planning in monolinguals and second language learners.I developed expertise in event-related potential techniques, having been trained directly at Penn State and abroad at Bangor University (Wales) and Beijing Normal University (China). I gained experience teaching in the classroom in seminar style courses and supervising students one-on-one in a research context. While at Penn State I gained a background in programming, for example in R program and in Matlab. I also have some familiarity with fMRI data processing through the SPM8 package. I participated in many research forums, colloquia, through the Center for Language Science, strengthening my background in interdisciplinary approaches to Linguistics, Cognitive Science, and Human Neuroscience.
