Meet Rhonda Stone From an early age, I knew I would grow-up to be a helper. I had a knack for finding strays, rescuing bugs, and befriending anyone. After high school, I moved away from my small hometown Crossfield Alberta to attend University of Lethbridge and pursue a degree in Psychology to realize that dream. While a student, I was introduced to a family looking for someone to assist their special needs daughter for various community activities. This was something I thought would be a fun way grow my skills and gain valuable real-life experience. I did not expect to completely fall in love with it! Working with adults with disabilities became my passion and what started as part-time job became a career choice. Throughout the last 25 years of my career, I have worked for various agencies in Alberta supporting individuals in residential, employment, and community access programs. During the infamous pandemic of 2020 - 2021, a like-minded friend and colleague took the leap with me to create Summit Collective Community Services. I am so excited for the next stage of my career, to provide an individualized goal driven program for adults with disabilities to collectively reach new heights!
