As the Payroll Manager I am a member of the Finance team who is responsible for the accurate management and generation of weekly payrolls, and all other payroll related functions including but not limited to; time tracking, benefit accruals, wage garnishments, bonuses and staff inquiry for approximately 400+ staff and clients via the company's payroll operating system. As the Payroll Manager I act as a liaison with HR regarding new hires, terminations and paid time-off benefits. Preparation of ad hoc reports and project management is also required.Qualifications include a comprehensive knowledge of company payroll systems, payroll best practices and an overall understanding of accounting principles. The ability to professionally deal with confidential and sensitive information is imperative. The Payroll Manager must possess decision-making, problem-solving, analytical and numeracy aptitude. Excellent communication skills in working with staff and management, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work autonomously, organize and work within deadlines is required.
