In whatever role I find myself in, I tend to gravitate towards learning, and leadership development. I enjoy opportunities to enhance a person’s development and find innovate ways to create “light bulb” moments. One of my favorite experiences at Assurant was the opportunity to manage the center leadership development program. I facilitated the last course in the program titled: "Achieving Your Leadership Potential" (a Development Dimensions International course). I found it extremely rewarding to have participants begin the session with what they perceived to be a problem in their department and leave viewing the obstacle as an opportunity and armed with solutions on how to overcome it. I would love the opportunity to connect on LinkedIn with fellow learners, to discuss best practices, or just bounce around ideas.
