Career Education Planning District (CEPD) Co-Administrator and provides leadership to school districts in Wayne County to develop, implement and evaluate local Career Technical Education and Early Middle College programs and administer the Carl D. Perkins federal grant. In partnership with post-secondary institutions, facilitate the development of Early Middle College Programs and Articulation Agreements for CTE programs. Liaison between Michigan Department of Education-Office of Career and Technical Education and Out-Wayne County School DistrictsFiscal agent, providing monitoring, professional development, technical assistance and program evaluation for Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County Adult Education (ABE, HSC, GED & ESL) programs. Liaison between Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity and Adult Education programs in the tri-county area.

Instructional leader with primary responsibilities including curriculum development, implementation of instructional programs and management of school operations. Additional duties include the coordination of the school improvement processes, lead SIS administrator, participation on school leaderships teams responsible the implementation of sustainable systems of improvement, service as the Assessment Coordinator and serves as principal in the absence of the school principal.

Serves as a curriculum and instruction lead for Career and Technical Education (CTE) in terms of Carl D. Perkins Grant compliance. Supervise Academic Integration Technicians, who provide in class Reading, Mathematics and Writing support to CTE students in order enhance comprehension of the technical CTE content. Assist with assessing school district CTE needs based upon the local workforce demands and adapting curriculum, instruction and assessment as appropriate. Participate in the development of the grant expenditure budget for CTE activities, programs and personnel.
Support CTE teachers and administrators in the use of teaching and learning best practices to prepare CTE students to college and career ready, including:
-Conduct informal/formal teacher walkthroughs evaluations and provide feedback and curricular/instructional resources.
-Develop and ensure effective facilitation of professional development activities for CTE teacher, administrators and para-pros related to instructional practices, academic integration and compliance with grant, district and state requirements.
-Collaborate to develop and maintain articulation and post-secondary matriculation agreements with colleges, universities and apprenticeship programs to ensure viable post-secondary options for students completing CTE programs.
