With over 8 years of experience working in a busy office space, I am always dedicated to tackling each day with great ease, efficiency, and outstanding customer service skills. Here's a little about my road thus far...Throughout my teens, I delivered the local newspaper twice a week on time every time. This taught me to be a self-starter and to be self-disciplined. After high school, I was employed in various retail positions including a cashier role at a dollar store for over 3 years. I came out of it all with a solid understanding on how to deliver great customer service and being a hardworking, reliable team player. In late 2015, my growing need for change was answered when a brochure landed on my doorstep. It invited me to an information session at a local vocational school, where I earned my Diploma in Administrative Assistant and Computerized Accounting. Fast-forward to mid-2016, I dove head-first into my first Reception role at an environmental company, which soon lead to an opportunity in Office Administration with the same firm. I was quickly recognized as a valuable asset as I bring to the table: - 90 WPM typing speed with great accuracy-16,000+ KSPH with 10-key typing- Shifting from completing one important task to another while maintaining focus and being poisedDay to day, I pride myself in building positive rapport with new and returning clients ensuring I stand out as being dependable and charismatic. Essential tasks in my current position include: - Handling phone and email work requests to conduct on-site Hazardous Materials Inspections- Creating daily schedules through Google Calendar for up to 10 Field Technicians- Sending Hazmat reports completed by Technicians, creating and sending invoices- Maintaining files, entering invoices to Sage50 and performing Accounts Receivable dutiesIn my free time, I am also a self-taught artist! Currently, my favorite mediums include analogue collaging and gouache painting. I have been blessed with the opportunity to showcase this talent in a professional setting as well. For the past 9 years, I have hand drawn birthday cards for staff as well as Christmas greeting cards which are signed by all staff before sending to clients.
