Here’s a bit about me and my background.𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐑 📚I was born in Michigan and followed in my father’s footsteps to attend the GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering) and became the third generation in my family to work for General Motors. However, after graduate school at the University of Michigan, I moved to Washington, D.C., to work on President Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative - the Star Wars program.𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀 & 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐒 💻As an early employee at Technica, I started in a technical role as an Engineer, earned a promotion to Engineering Group Manager, and grew my team from 3 to 9. As Director of Engineering, I became the second in command to the CEO/CTO, managing 20+ engineers on customer sites and internal engineers as the Head of Innovation R&D. I prioritized and led a portfolio of over 30 new products and programs, developing novel technologies that leveraged AI, ML, and cybersecurity innovations. 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 & 𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 🚀Currently, as Senior Vice President of Engineering, I continue to lead Innovation, Engineering, ITS, and Programs. With 12 direct reports and an organization of 100+, I’m supervising up to 5 concurrent programs while supporting the proposal process through contracting and client delivery. Throughout my 30-year career as an engineering leader at Technica, I’ve helped the company achieve significant growth. I’ve constantly learned new skills and managed change through significant technological advances and organizational growth.
