This included program management of major acquisitions and divestitures in 50 + countries and over 25 corporate functions – including MetLife’s $16.3 billion acquisition of AIGs international Division Alico.  Managed technical and business teams to improve customer experiences by simplifying Property and Casualty Claims customer correspondences. Program Managed a Divestiture involving 13 countries in the Caribbean. Developed Strategic Roadmap to Day 1 Close, defined governance process both globally and for home office. Led teams to multiple closings as they varied by country.  Co-authored an M&A playbook for the Enterprise Program Management organization.  Program Managed International business and functional teams across all regions (65 countries) and trained them in Enterprise Program Management Methodology to meet the goals for the MetLife Alico Integration Program.  Set up strategic roadmap to Deal closing and integration for teams in the Middle East and South Africa, Eastern Europe, Japan until local program managers were hired. Translated technical (user) manuals for copiers, cameras and the like from Japanese into English.Additionaly, provided cultural awareness training to professionals doing business or planning on doing business with Japan.

Taught English at all Primary, junior high and technical schools to Japanese students in Ibusuki, Japan.Translated tourist signs (for historic sites, etc) into English throughout the prefecture.Worked ad hoc for local police station as translator for non-Japanese speaking tourists, visitors. This included translating a visa application in Japanese to a visiting Korean guest, translating for a French firefighter visiting firehouses in Japan to compare notes (French to Japanese, Japanese to French) with a little frenlish and jenglish mixed in).Taught adult English language classes via adult community education to city employees and other civilians, designing my own curriculum and materials.
