Ms. Slade served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce for four years. Under her leadership, the Chamber grew to record membership levels, garnered elevated influence with elected officials and community leaders, and served the business community with exceptional service and dedication. As a result, Ms. Slade received several awards and recognition from several organizations, most notably the “25 CEOs You Need to Know” award from the Gazette of Politics and Business and recognition in the inaugural list of “50 Who’s Who in Prince George’s County” by Prince George’s Suite Magazine.Ms. Slade earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bennett College and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching, Secondary English from the University of the District of Columbia. She is a proud mother of three phenomenal young adults, and serves as an active member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. She contributes her faith in God, commitment to excellence, and dedication to community service, as the cornerstones of her success.
