Co-Led with Microsoft CTO for Microsoft Fellows the development Of a solution that used HoloLens and Surface Pros to provide remote sessions and overlays for Field Service mentoring and transitioned Big Data (over 400TB of data from multiple legacy DB platforms, Oracle, SQL, DB2, Sybase) into an Azure Cloud U-SQL DB using StorSimple. The solution abstract data used Azure Data Factory and Machine Learning Studio to model predictive/prescriptive analytics predicting the right fix, part and tech needed to remediate a service request. The solution was provided to end users, using Microsoft SurfacePro, voice to text, text to voice, and video recording/tagging options so that end users could talk with the system to record data while on the move and was deployed across 16,000 field techs across the globe. Managed a team that produced the prototype in 60 days and finished testing POC in 180. Senior Management of global operations for global client’s technology environments, processes and projects including Servers, Networks, IT Security, and IP Telephony. My organization consisted of direct management of 8 Senior Managers/Directors and a down line of over 400 employees and over 2600 contractors handling IT operations for over 450 clients including several brand name and fortune 100 companies. Included capacity management, environmental management, SOC, NOC, IT Strategy. Improved operational efficiency by 22.4%, increased margins by 5.9%, reduced overhead by 3.2%, and reduced attrition by 2.7% in the first 6 months.

Management of global technical operations including Data Center operations, security operations and corporate operations. Architected new Data Centers and private cloud with HP and Microsoft using the then new HyperV technologies and ProCurve Virtual Switches. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), duties included Security IT Management for transitioning several large corporate clients to ACS for IT Security Services. Department Leadership and Administration of five departments and 30+ projects inclusive of establishment of Data Protection department with Whole Disk Encryption, E-Mail Encryption and encryption of Data-at-Rest and Data-in-Transit, Access & Identity Management Technologies for both internal users and external clients with a completed model of a Federated Cloud Infrastructure, and Boundary Services for both e-mail and Web Filtering. IT Security Policy and Procedure establishment and compliance for 75,000+ internal users. Worked with multiple partners to innovate software to do massive rollouts of encryption and conversions to Forrest including: PGP, and MicrosoftDirector, Information TechnologyAffiliated Computer ServicesReporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Information Technology Outsourcing, oversaw multiple ITO service practices and projects including planning and execution of off-shoring of all domestic service desk to staffs in India, Malaysia, and Mexico while maintaining SLAs through an intricate phased approach for hand offs and training that resulted in an overall ROI of $5M annually after three years. Architectural design and executive implementation oversight of the Microsoft engineering staff that implemented the collapsing and updating over 139 Microsoft NT domains to Active Director in less than eight months through the internal development of remote agent software thereby avoiding an annual cost of $4.5M in out of production product support cost. Streamlining of AD replication traffic to provide improved network performance and establishing of throughput of required traffic to global WANs and LANs so that ACLs were available for global access to resources., Integration of Federated access of customer portal for clients.
