Work directly with the Friends Group of the Brentwood Library to represent their needs and keep them informed regarding County buisness decisions.

I worked at Heritage as a full time faculty member during the first year school opened in 2005. I taught both Biology and Chemistry courses. I help setup, organized, and maintained two separate laboratory classrooms, one in A and the other in D block. I met with parents to ensure the importance of their students’ education in and outside of the home. I participated in department group meeting to organize and develop curriculum.

I worked at Arroyo High School teaching Introduction to Biology sheltered course, Biology, and Physical Science classes. I was an active staff member at Arroyo and I attend rallies and took part in student activities.My first year at Arroyo, I worked as a student teacher under Master Teacher Debbie Clark. I taught 9th, 10 th, and 11th grade Biology. I attended department and faculty meetings, wrote letters, contacted parents as needed, and worked with students on an individual basis. In addition, I created and maintained a website for students in order to meet their needs and maintain grades.

1/1/03 thru 2003Working to complete analyses for Charles Green’s S-1812 and S-1812-DP studies. Conduct analysis for Resource Cotton study (V-24838) including storage stability, GC preparation and analyses of samples for registration. Conduct and set up GC requirements for Uniconazole fruiting vegetable projects (IR-4 projects). Assisted in the analysis of Etoxazole for grape and almond projects for Tom Schriers’ studies. Prepared a Power Point presentation on Methylene Chloride and presented at safety meeting. Prepare method for Sumagic project of tomatoes and peppers for Uniconazole-P. Set up GC method and analysis of samples. Prepare various documents and worksheets needed for various projects. Maintain supplies and keep laboratory organized and within GLP compliance.1/1/01 to 12/30/02 – Valent USA CorporationI conducted analysis for Canola project which included methodology changes and sample cleanup. I also conducted analyses for Select Lettuce (IR-4 project A25224) and Grass (V-02-24731). Initiated extraction of samples and prepared GC requirements for Resource study for 2003. I worked to complete analysis for Charles Green’s S-1812 and S-1812-DP studies to meet registration deadlines. Prepare various documents and worksheets needed for various projects. Maintain supplies and keep laboratory organized and in GLP compliance. 1/17/00 to 12/30/01 – Valent USA CorporationWorked on Method Development for Soil Dissipation Project. Analyzed S-1812 and its soil metabolites S-1812-DPMe, S-1812-DP, and HTFP. Analysis of S-1812, S-1812-DPMe, and S-1812-DP by GC/MSD with Chemstation, while HTPF was analyzed by HPLC/UV with Chemstation. Other crops analyzed for S-1812 include; Cotton, Peppers, Tomatoes, Corn Forage and Stover. Previously analyzed Tomatoes, Cantaloupe, and Cabbage by GC/NP for Pyriproxyfen.
