Community Support Specialist Ii
CurrentPosition involves preparing, gathering, and analyzing information to determine a client's financial and non-financial situation in regards to initial and continued eligibility for public assistance programs such as food, medical, and cash assistance. Case management duties include conducting detailed interviews with public assistance applicants and recipients, assessing and evaluating their financial assets, and providing community referrals as needed. Additional responsibilities include educating clients about their rights and responsibilities, and determining eligibility by reviewing case details based on state and federal statutes, and calculating income, resources and expenses per program rules.
