The TorontoMet Hospitality and Tourism Students’ Society (HTSS) is a student-run organization that represents 700+ students attending the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. The HTSS’ mandate is to promote student engagement on campus and strengthen the 3 pillars of the Ted Rogers Students’ Society: academic, by offering workshops and competitions to supplement students’ learning from the classroom to make for a holistic educational experience; professional, by hosting career oriented events that aid in bridging the gap between industry leaders within the hospitality and tourism community and students who are the leaders of tomorrow; and social, by providing opportunities for students to foster relationships and experiences that lasts beyond the academic years and to build their most important network, their peer network.
