Initially hired as lead QA Analyst for a new distributed enterprise class Point of Sale System, which consists of an Android based mobile application with a Java based backend services with a NoSQL database, which integrates with a web application using a Java mid-tier and SQL 2012 backend. Job Responsibilities included setting Quality Assurance direction along with process and procedures. Took ownership of continuous delivery and deployment methodologies for team, and worked as liaison with corporate Infrastructure team to ensure that all required servers and environments were setup and configured correctly across multiple environments.

Integrated Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) and Material Control System (MCS) software into factory. Provided current schedule and root cause of any system issues to management. Worked closely with MCS vendor to deliver quality software releases. * Worked with management to consolidate support of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) for all North American Logic Wafer Fabs into a single support organization.* Drove series of vendor software upgrades to improve stability and throughput of distributed Material Control System (MCS). System consisted of 6 Windows 2000 Servers.* Developed Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) to improve vendor software release processes. Implemented detailed process and procedures for work done on MCS based on FMEA, and reduced length of scheduled downs by 2%.

Business Analyst supporting Texas InstrumentsInvolved with selection of new technology for tracking work in process (WIP). Responsible for working with application development teams of multiple vendors to ensure that tools were delivered with new API requirements. * Pioneered Standard Mechanical InterFace (SMIF) & Smart-Tag interfaces on tool load ports for first implementation as part of a project to renovate an older manufacturing facility effort had a 4% yield improvement resulting in $9.2M/year PFO. Developed systems and interfaces were fanned out to 2 other manufacturing facilities.* Co-Authored article entitled “Using SMIF technology to help retrofit a high volume fab” in April 2001 edition of Micro magazine for work done in DMOS4. Article was co-authored along with John Ort of Texas Instruments and Chris Humphreys of Asyst Technologies.

This included the layout and buildup of control cabinets, programming of PLC application, installation and wiring of sensors and controls worked with Allen Bradley and Texas Instruments Controllers.* Upgraded equipment with existing relay control systems to be PLC based control systems* Using TI530C PLC programmed and built Pass / Fail final Quality Control test system.
