During my time as General Manager for Singapore we realigned our business & channel structure. With this new fondation we accelerated growth with strategic partners & government alliences. This resulted in over 10,000 new customers for the group in 2018.

Focussed on rapid channel growth across the region, ABSS is now represented in over 10 countries.

ABSS was formed in 2009 by a management buy-out of MYOB Limited - Asia.As Country Manager my role was to ensure the company is well positioned for future growth and deliver on the opportunities we have today. In additional to general management my focus includes driving regional relationships with government, financial institutions, enterprise and promoting the small business economy.

Recruited from MYOB NZ to head the Malaysia business unit in preparation for GST introduction – key stakeholder of MBO in Sept 09.• Initiated new partner & client engagement model to align with long-term objectives, this resulted in increased partner engagement and value.• Responsible for the sales, marketing and operations of MYOB Malaysia Limited.• Achieved >15% growth in client acquisition while gaining efficiencies in areas such as • Marketing, IT and Contact Centre resources.• Redesigned Account Management structure to focus on growth while creating channel experts that added value to business partners.• Increased MYOB’s market-share & revenue per customer by 20% over 12 months• Managed the Malaysian P&L to break even for the first time

Managed the partner relations team responsible for nationwide customer acquisition via channel partners such as; national retailers, accountants and distribution partners. • Sales accountability (NZD 5.4m) contributing for 50% of MYOB NZ revenue.• Senior member of MYOB NZ management team, focusing on business development & channel management across a range of vertical partners, including Retail, B2B and the professional sector.• Manage & mentor a young team of five account managers to ensure business objectives are exceeded.• Responsible for nationwide retail channel marketing, initiating campaigns that increased category sales & market share.

My first venture into Asia and what an exciting 3 months. Part of a global team of 10 MYOB leaders from around the world seconded to help establish MYOB China. • Seconded to MYOB’s newest global acquisition to transfer MYOB knowledge, skills and procedures to local team.• Successful implementation of a new business unit focusing on accountants and universities.• Mentored a local team of six Account Managers through channel management / CRM workflow and business planning.• Broad experience gained in working alongside senior business managers from different regions.• Experience in driving a team to set KPI’s in a challenging bi-lingual environment.• Progressed to another secondment position, focusing on the integration of two business units with over 100 staff (MYOB and Comac Payroll)

• Sales accountability (NZD 2.8m), contributing for 35% of NZ business division revenue.• Successfully managed a team of three sales representatives across the country focusing on national retailers and resellers. (Harvey Norman, Noel seeming, Dick Smith Electronics and Ingram Micro)• Successful development and implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve business plans.• Exceeded targets for nine consecutive quarters, exceeded target every year.• Developed new processes and programs that drove success through retail e.g. implementation of merchandising teams, reseller incentive programs and channel marketing programs.• Successfully managed multiple channel strategies, including large retail, small reseller and distribution.• Personally managed key HQ relationships with MYOB’s largest customers.• Seconded to MYOB China to facilitate China business growth.
