EECA is the government agency that works to improve the energy efficiency of New Zealand's homes and businesses, and encourage the uptake of renewable energy.Role involved the initial development of the restructured business team structure, re-developing EECA's engagement to very large energy users. Focus on engagement to CEO, CFO, Directors and GMs to promote large-scale Energy Efficiency, Renewables Switching and Capital Investment projects, in conjunction with a team of Relationship Managers. Involvement in special projects; hosting and MC of large-scale annual Large Energy Users Forum. Industry representative and advisor to the Government's Electric Vehicles Working Group.

Westpac's CleanTech Fund supports a range of technology-based organisations, products and services that take advantage of renewable materials and energy sources, reducing the use of natural resources, and limiting or eliminating emissions and wastes.Role was to provide support to Westpac's initiatives in this space, advising on opportunities and aspects of regulation and market development.

Operational performance specialist consultancy. Client base included Transpower, Meridian, Contact, Powerco; various city and regional councils, MED, DIA, Dept of Corrections, NZDF, MAF, NZ Post and NZ Police; ANZ, Kiwibank, Coca-Cola and Tait Electronics.Role oversaw Business Development and project implementation in the Auckland market, and wider business strategy, working as part of the senior management team.

Development of new business in Infrastructure sector; water, mining, telecommunications, construction. Particular focus on large scale projects greater than $10million.High level relationships to central and local government, major contracting and construction companies, engineering and environmental consultancy.

Management of spot market risk for SOE electricity generator by way of large-scale contracts with major NZ-based multi-national companies in primary industries, manufacturing and service providers. Encompassed primary and secondary manufacturing, telecommunications, banking and finance, local and national government.Relationship Management at senior level; key supplier contract negotiation and implementation; development of strategy were key components of the role.

Responsible for the advertising revenues and key relationships for New Zealand's most prominent automotive industry publication, NZ Autocar Magazine. Managed contractual relationships to IMG for V8 Supercars publications and race events, and to Rally NZ. Supported printing, publication and distribution functions.Subsequently central to acquisition by and merger into the wider Fairfax Group, taking the title from private ownership to part of wider stable of specialist publications.

Developed and implemented comprehensive business plans for a variety of businesses in industries such as Packaging, IT/Infrastructure, Financial Services and Automotive Wholesale.

Wide-ranging commercial role, with chief responsibility for contract negotiation with major NZ food and industrial manufacturers. Budgeting, tendering and product planning core skills.

Managed upper-North Island region for consumer products, then Central Region with particular focus on leading expansion into mass-merchandiser markets.
