I have gained significant experience whilst in my current and previous roles in the overall process engineering associated with running the plant, from operating the Distributed Control System (DCS) to on site routine inspections, maintenance & emergency works, along with supervision of contractors and fellow members of staff. I am a team player who plays an active role within my current team and who enjoys passing on my knowledge to fellow team members both operational and engineering in order to better their skills/understanding and in turn the plant performance. Following on from my progression from when I started in power generation as a plant attendant in 2006 in a coal station to now being a Shift Team Leader I feel I am ready for the next step in my career progression.
