Environmental Science (Bsc) student at the University of the West of England.Studying Environmental science has been very rewarding, it's helped me to gain a better understanding of global systems, the influences humans have on the planet and have begun learning mitigation and prevention actions we can take to create a sustainable future.A range of useful skills I’ve learnt are:- Water quality analysis - identifying in situ information, liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry to identify pollutants and also electron microscopy.- Soil sampling - TOC analysis, ICP chromatography and field testing methods- GIS Mapping dataIn addition to my studies, I have a part time job as a Brand Ambassador for a variety of charities. This job entails public outreach, marketing, promotion and fundraising events in order to gain more suppport for NSPCC and Shelter. This job is very rewarding because we get to integrate and socialise with the public in order to firstly inform them of the challenges we face as a society and how they can get involved to help fight these challenges.
