Blending his skills in engineering and economics, Rhys works collaboratively with clients on a range of infrastructure and environmental related projects. He has a particular expertise in water resources, floodplain management, economic assessments and engagement, and has applied these skills both in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific.With his strong leadership and management skills, Rhys has directed and managed numerous large infrastructure design projects for a range of clients. Ranging from projects as diverse as highway design in the southern highlands of PNG, wharf infrastructure in Tuvalu and cyclone rehabilitation in Vanuatu.Rhys has a passion for furthering the knowledge of the industry. He has worked in the research and update of Australian Rainfall and Runoff, has published research in numerous domestic and international conferences and sits on industry forum panels. Through his international work, Rhys has proactively worked to transfer this knowledge through capacity building on projects throughout the Asia Pacific. Outside of Australia, Rhys has worked on private, government and donor related work throughout the Asia Pacific, including PNG, Singapore, Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Vanuatu, The Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.
