Provide OT services in acute care setting at Level 1 Trauma Center. Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of complex diagnoses and injuries including polytrauma, orthopedic trauma and associated late effects sequelae, amputation, vascular surgery, open heart surgery, stroke, TBI, chronic wounds. Assist with discharge planning complex patient population with significant psychosocial needs, including mental illness, chronic homelessness, and substance abuse. Work daily on multidisciplinary team with multiple MD teams, RN, case management, social workers, physical therapists and speech therapists to provide comprehensive patient care.

Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient chronic wound and burn clinic. Patients seen in conjunction with wound MDs and NPs and burn surgeons to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with chronic wounds and second and third degree burns.
