I work as part of freelance production team; Blueshift Studios. For Blueshift I provide professional photography and videography services for a variety of industries. Since our deployment in 2018, I have worked on over 100 productions with clients including Balter Festival, Bassfest, Tank Nightclub and The Wub Club amongst many more. Over the last two years I have worked as a photographer in over 15 music venues in Sheffield alone, have worked as part of the production team for 5 music festivals, photographed birthday parties, been on multiple fashion shoots, worked as a product photographer and set-up professional multi-feed live streams for music events during the coronavirus pandemic. My work as a freelancer began only months before helping form Blueshift Studios with members of my Masters Filmmaking course. We as a team have accomplished a great deal in such a short amount of time especially considering the many setbacks that have been presented to us during 2020.

At Capita I worked on an outbound sales campaign, calling existing customers in aim to upgrade them or help them take out new additional plans. My duty as a sales advisor is to consistently hit increasingly-challenging targets to unlock bonuses. Through doing so, this has allowed me to develop a firm ability to pitch to and communicate with customers (and potential new customers) and has driven me to become a better salesman. I am determined to utilise these capabilities in future employment. I also helped to set up an optileave/abandoned basket campaign.

Although only a temporary role, I worked for a variety of corporate clients under Martian Marketing to provide photography and video production services for the use of recruitment and promotion. Working for Martian provided me with an insight into corporate freelance production work and helped to open the door for me into this industry.

I worked in both the bar and promotions teams for Plug Nightclub which helped me develop a range of skills across different areas from dealing with customers in a busy environment to promoting events by advertising on the streets of Sheffield. - Serving a variety of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks in a fast-paced environment. - Handing out flyers and promoting events by engaging with the public in the city centre.- Managing the end-of-night clean downs on a number of occasions, ensuring that my workmates fulfill their tasks adequately. - Ensuring I only served alcohol to those over the age of 18. Checking the identifications of customers who look under the age of 25. - Handling tickets and money, ensuring that only the right people are allowed in the venue.- Marshaling busier nights.- Making sure the fridges were always fully stocked.
