The Macquarie University Pool Society was a student operated society which ran bi-weekly competitions in the game of eight-ball pool. My role as apart of this operation was originally to organise the bi-weekly events, handle member sign-ups to the competitions, and to actively engage with students on campus to garner interest in the society.Once becoming treasurer, I worked closely with our society President to work out feasible prizes and extra events for the society, maintained accounts, and made judgements about efficient allocations of funds.
