CurrentRhys is a Partner at DWF in the Catastrophic and Large Loss insurance team. Rhys represents market leading insurers, adjusters, brokers and self-insureds, including SMEs, FTSE 250 and international clients. Rhys works in a team focussed on catastrophic injury, product liability, property, travel, regulatory, commercial and coverage disputes. Having been called to the Bar in 2006, he completed the QLTT and was admitted as a solicitor in 2008.He runs his own caseload of catastrophic and sub-catastrophic cases, and has a comprehensive understanding of high-value liability and quantum disputes, including RTAs, Employer's Liability, and Public and Products' Liability.Rhys also deals with international, Pan-European and Transatlantic cross border claims, working on insurance matters arising out the US, Africa and mainland Europe. Rhys has a depth of knowledge and interest in complex brain injury cases.He was appointed as Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts All Proceedings) in 2011 and is a member of the Honourable Society of Inner Temple.In his spare time, he enjoys reading, skiing, playing golf and spending time with his family
