• Assist the Library Team Leader with the delivery of knowledge management, information and library services. • Support all employees of Cwm Taf Health Board and other authorised users, and to support such users with their education, training, research and continuing professional development needs. • To be responsible as the named and nominated member of library staff for liaising and ensuring appropriate services in support of Cardiff University undergraduate medical students.• Develop and ensure delivery of information skills training for all library users in order to support the highest standards of education and training.• To produce marketing and training materials to promote the role of the library in the delivery of evidence based healthcare.

Deal with ILL requests. Receipt new books and other materials. Process and pay all invoices. Work with suppliers to ensure that deliveries arrive on time. Catalogue records in accordance with AACR2 standards.

Clydach Library

Assist with daily maintenance of library. Help customers to gain access to information and learning by locating books, videos, online resources and other materials. Carry out administrative duties required in relation to the building. Service delivery, stock and maintain records as required, issue and shelve items, participate in special events and activities. Assist in the promotion of culture through a range of events.

Cefn Coed Colliery Museum

Catalogue museum objects. Conduct museum tours for visitors. Participate in special museum events and activities. Open and close museum and ensure security of the site. Ensure exhibits are well maintained and displayed.

Knossos, Crete

Cleaning, photographing, and repackaging of the Stratigraphical Museum holdings, and the creation of catalogue records in the School’s Museums and Archives Onlinesystem (using KE Software’s EMu programme).
