Grappa Systems is a software development company specializing in building Web applications for the next generation TV industry.Grappa, short of ‘Great Applications Anywhere’ was established in the mid-2011 as a new venture with Canadian telecommunications giant Telus, and started providing offshore IPTV services since then. We work with leading edge TV manufacturers, such as LG and Samsung as well as IPTV development leaders such as Microsoft, in order to provide our clients with the highest quality services that meet the market’s demands.At Grappa, we provide software development services for all sectors of the IPTV industry. We handle everything from Smart TV web applications (directly consumed via Smart TV devices) to middleware services and Mediaroom applications that run off set-top boxes. Our applications follow a set of standards that promote internationalization and globalization out of the box. We also follow a strict set of guidelines regarding our software quality and security.

My work consisted of: Managing and Restructuring a company that is a Golden Partner for Nortel Networks and as such offers the most advanced technology available today including IP Telephony, IP Cameras, Wireless products, Advanced Voice Messaging, Call Centers, CTI/IVR, Call Management, Speech Recognition, Data Switching, WAN/LAN, Access Controls and Biometric solutions, partnering with major suppliers such as AIRAYA, BELDEN, TELEDEX, PLANTRONICS, 3M, Bioscrypt, Selea. This was achieved through: Keeping a day to day business relationship with our suppliers. Creating a new SMB Division within the Sales Department. Restructuring the Operations Department and creating a Maintenance Contracts Sales Division. Implementing new workflow and administrative processes. Creating a Presales and Tendering Department. Developing new markets for the Call Centres and IVR solutions. Setting new rules and regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting for the year 2008. Etc….

I started up Reset s.a.r.l. (Lebanon) as a company that sells, installs and maintains a wide range of Low Current solutions (Security, Telecom, Networking..).Most of my work consisted in: Creating the Sales and Marketing, Technical, Administration and Accounting departments. Partnering with Telecom and Security products suppliers. Examples being: Panasonic (PBX and Key Telephone systems), 3Com (Data), 3M (Structure Cabling), Protec (Fire Alarm ), Pelco (CCTV solutions), HIT (Biometric solutions), Position Technologies (Access Control), Jeron ( Nurse Calling and Intercom supplier), Paradox (Burglar Alarm solutions), etc… Marketing these products and solutions to the Lebanese Market through contacts with consultants, contractors, sub dealers and end users. Creating all the marketing and working tools of the company: Logo, Website, Letterheads, Brochures, Internal paperwork… Setting up rules and regulations as well as workflow procedures. Monitoring the day to day work of the sales force. Monitoring the day to day work of the technical department. Creating and Managing inventory. Monitoring and Managing accounting and cash-flow. Etc…

I have accomplished many consultancy contracts for different kind of local and Pan Arab companies (Telecom, Security, IT, Distribution ..) Most of my work consisted in: Restructuring these companies. Setting their financial budgets. Studying their cash-flow projections. Setting sales targets and forecasts. Developing a break-even analysis by product. Performing feasibility studies for the development of new markets based on new products.  Defining marketing plans for the new products to be launched. Etc….

My work consisted of: Performing a Market Research for Security Products in Lebanon. Sourcing very good quality Security products manufactured by International companies with high standard recognitions and approvals. Keeping a day to day business relationship with all the suppliers. Introducing these products and solutions to the Lebanese Market through contacts with consultants, contractors, sub dealers and end users. Creating, organizing and monitoring an aggressive sales force capable of achieving an acceptable market share. Creating, organizing and monitoring a technical department to install and maintain these products. Creating and Managing inventory. Monitoring and Managing cash-flow.
