Leading the establishment and operation of the core broadcast operation & engineering departments, of a Television network SATV. Securing smooth operation of daily broadcast operation based on international HD standard concrete policies and procedures. Some basic responsibilities are: • Direct coordinates television station activities concerned with acquisition, installation and maintenance, or with modification of studio broadcasting equipment.• Directly involve in establishing the Broadcast Operation & Engineering Department as well as operational management of SATV.• Evaluate studio needs for new broadcasting equipment to define if the acquisition would be justified considering such factors as cost, availability and improvement gain in technical performance and authorizes acquisition according to evaluation.• Establish procedures for operation, maintenance of studio, remote control, and microwave transmission equipment.• Day to day management of the engineering team, including work allocation, recruitment, freelance and contract hiring, budgeting etc.• Design and implementation of common control protocol for on-screen interactive graphics system Vizrt.• To ensure availability of technical systems and infrastructure, providing 24x7 television broadcast, post production and ancillary services.• Prepares annual budget for engineering department controls expenditures within budget limitations• Develop modification plans for existing broadcasting equipment to improve technical performance.• Direct modification testing of equipment to make sure operational performance meets specified standards; Prepare repair, maintenance schedules for studio, remote, and broadcasting equipment to prevent interruption of broadcasts• Direct inquiries to appropriate internal sections of broadcast department, when necessary.• Regular communication with domestic cable distributor/operator to ensure highest footprint coverage of SATV.

RESPONSIBILITIES As Head of Broadcast & Engineering of Boishakhi TV my responsibility where, among other things, operation of master Control and playout, technical support of edit facility with near line and online storage, operation of Harries workflow infrastructure with storage and archiving.Operation of all daily business IT infrastructure based on Microsoft solutions. RESPONSIBILITIESConfiguring a Domain controller and set a LAN about 100 Workstations. User Handling, File sharing and print server maintain by windows 2000 server. FTP, Web and proxy server configuration of Red Hat Linux. Maintain & troubleshot satellite signal uplink through our SNG unit, using an MPEG encoder, noise reducer, gain controller, etc. During this time I am also controlling the full system using ROSA Network System. Moreover, I have to increase & decrease uplink beam using PDA direct control of a satellite transponder. Beside these I am also responsible to maintain our optical network for audio & video transfer as well as CAT6 network, which is established in our entire editorial panel.
