Ria Lu manages the Leveret Group, a consultancy company involved in metaverses, games, animation and other forms of entertainment content.Well-versed in the business and operations of BPO, software and games, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the De La Salle University, Manila; and has taken up Computer Graphics for Games at the Tokyo Technical College. She speaks Japanese, and has been working in the game, app and software industry for over 15 years.Previously, Ria Lu was the Studio Director of the Manila studio of Laguna Games. She was also the Executive Director of the Game Developers Association of the Philippines and was involved in the development of the Philippine game industry, especially in the talent development front.Prior to this position, Ria worked as worked as Studio Director of the First Foundry Manila Studio, and before that, as an Operations Manager and Bridge Director for Transcosmos Asia Philippines, a Japanese BPO company involved in e-commerce, support services and software development. She was also the founder of Komikasi Games and Entertainment. Komikasi was heavily involved with developing apps and games for brands and advertising agencies in the early 2010s.
