As a communications intern, I mainly created accessible content for the MP on their social media platforms. I maintained their website, ensuring their identity is aligned with the Party branding while showcasing their work and areas of interest, and also designed infographics for Instagram and Twitter. As the role progressed, I drafted email responses to campaigns and constituent's concerns. Specific campaigns that I dealt with were on the exploitation of garment workers, the ethics of foie gras, fur and hunting trophies, the halting of the Kept Animals Bill, and the Northern Ireland Abortion Regulations. Additionally, I produced press releases for the MPs website on organisation's awareness campaigns. My role relied on collaborating with Policy Advisors, Researchers, Caseworkers, and Parliamentary Assistants to produce work that aligns with the Party's values. At times of high workload, I would also take on caseworker tasks, specifically concerns with passports at the Home Office. Within a week I was able to close over 20 cases.

Conduct student-centered, student-led 1-on-1 study skill sessions based on individual needs. I help students develop sustainable study-skills and habits to overcome their academic challenges. I aim to improve the student's attitude to studying and school while also giving parents insight and confidence in their child's study habits. Key capabilities from myself include investigative skills (to discover and address underlying issues the student faces), clear communication and dialogue skills (to facilitate conversations conversations around the individual needs of the student) and flexibility/adaptability (to know what skills or advice should be implemented when, adjusting according to situations/needs, and being quick-thinking within a session). I act as a mediator between the students and their parents (the client) to create a conducive, sustainable and effective learning strategy that meets the expectation of the parents, but is also beneficial to the parents. To do all this, I implement active listening, patience, non-judgement, clarifying questions and discussions.

Providing seminars on study skills to students from ages 8 to 18. These seminars aim to achieve behavioural changes amongst students by using various strategies and skills based on over 2 decades of research. These skills are spread across 4 scripts, which I had to memorise, adapt and make engaging. As of March 2022, I presented to over 400 students across 20 schools, with a 97% satisfactory rating.Feedback I received from clients: "Your team did a great job today. There were a lot of positive comments from some difficult to please students. I popped in to all the sessions and all six presenters were really engaging and clearly well prepared.""As always, our feedback is hugely positive. I represented the UCL Anthropology Department by promoting its interests and benefits. I did this by filming videos for their YouTube channel. Video topics include reviews for books and films related to Anthropological themes. As well as interviewing lecturers on their modules to promote their modules to prospective students. Another requirement for this role is to write articles related to the Anthropology department.

As a Senior Transition Mentor, I have experience being a Transition Mentor (who help first-year students transition into university) and as such got promoted to oversee the Transition Team. I would organise fortnightly check-ins to ascertain how the Mentors are doing and find out if there are any issues that need addressing.I also participated in a meeting which aimed to introduce EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) to the mentoring programme.

Working with UCL's Student Welcome and Induction Team, I help new, incoming students transition to university by streamlining the onboarding process for students. This is done through campus tours, ID/BRP collection processes and general questions about university life in London.

Supporting School Liason Officers in the school onboarding process by uploading students, lessons, and pay onto TutorCruncher. Additionally, I would troubleshoot any issues that arise within the system, while working as a mediator between tutors and my superiors.

This additional role required me to collaborate with other attendance monitors to ensure Manning's provides an accurate representation of the attendance levels at lessons. This was a rigorous process that required a daily analysis of attendance sheets across thousands of lessons split across hundreds of tutors. As attendance officers, a group of us would contact tutors to remind them to submit their attendance reports, streamlining the reporting process. This required knowledge of many platforms, including Excel Spreedsheets, TutorCruncher, Sakari, Ring Central and Hubstaff. Measurable achievements within the role included a 70% decrease in backlog (from appr. 1000 to 300 incomplete reports/attendance sheets) within a month.

Awarded ‘Top Tutor’ in 2019/2020.As an English tutor for Manning's Tutors, I consistently provided excellent quality lessons to both groups and individuals, from KS3 to A Levels. I would tailor my lessons according to the student(s) needs or level and ensure the lessons were both fun and challenging. The lessons took place either face-to-face or on Bramble (a virtual classroom).Promoted to Official English Cover: September 2020

The Transition Programme supports all first year students in their transition to university. This transition can be a particularly stressful time for students as they adapt to a different way of life and new academic demands. Transition mentors provide peer support to first year students in their department/degree programme through regular group mentoring meetings. I strengthened my leadership, interpersonal and organisation skills. Additionally I gained excellent emotional intelligence and communication skills, supportive and non-judgmental attitude, team work, and the ability to support academic discussions in a collaborative manner.

The Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program with the United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network focused on social impact. My initiative (called Pathos) focused on SDG 12 and 13 - Sustainable Production and Consumption, and Climate Action. I attended leadership training and developed my interpersonal skills.

Promoted to Supervisor: October 2020This job requires me to work in a fast paced environment while a focusing on creating a calm environment and a cultural experience through food which requires a broad knowledge of the menu, its ingredients and Japanese and Korean cultures, while putting the customer at the heart of the business. I also need to be knowledgeable about differing vegan and vegetarian diets. Additionally, many of our customers belong in Jain and Hare Krishna belief systems, so finding meals that accommodate their diets is also part of my job.

Balancing customer service and kitchen work simultaneously was key in this role. Cooking things such a burgers, fries, wraps and salads as well as making hot drinks such as lattes and teas, while taking orders from customers was a usual shift.
