At Talent Club, my role as an Associate was to maintain existing client and candidate relationships, extend contracts which were due for renewal and ensure the continuous growth of the business. My experience within recruitment for the last seven years has meant that I could build rapport quickly in order to step in the role confidently and ensure a smooth and seamless transition as the Founder was planning to step down. I managed partnerships which have been built and maintained whilst ensuring rates remain competitive and that a steady stream of new business is maintained and filled.

Specialising within Interior Design, I was brought into the company to grow the Design division as they had little presence within this area and wanted to venture into it. I started the desk and quickly moved into the permanent side as well, generating a £10k perm fee within the first week of taking up the desk. As a startup, I was required to build a database from scratch of both clients and candidates. It was imperative that candidate generation, client meetings, referrals and regular meetings were at the forefront of my day to day tasks in order to build a good foundation or growth. Previous contacts/connections to industry, LinkedIn and referrals were my main source of success.

I specialised in sourcing and placing Interior Designers at all levels of seniority within Design, and grew a Freelance desk which was a cold and unutilised desk, to become a consistent £10k GP p/m desk within the first seven months. - Understand the needs of my candidates and clients through listening and empathising with their situation- Ability to understand the skillset they require, the culture and the caliber of candidate they are looking for- Headhunting or advertising to source the right candidate for the role, meet F2F, then submit for shortlist - Responsibilities also included payroll, social media, advertising and face to face meetings- both client and candidate

Within this role I was recruiting for Medical Locum Doctors within the NHS. I worked my way up from a trainee recruiter to managing my own team of five with a monthly average of 40-55k GBP GP billed whilst I was still recruiting myself. My personal billings reached a peak of 260k GBP in my third year of recruitment. - Hiring for the team, interviewing, vetting, training, mentoring and building the team organically- Weekly and daily sales meetings- Managing staff turnover, motivating the team and the day-to-day tasks of a billing consultant- Payroll tasks in order to ensure my locums were paid on time- Arranged incentives and targets for the team and was involved in the company’s structure and strategic planning as a Team Leader
