I founded a music platform that’s showcased over 200 musicians and creatives so far, and enjoy being an award-winning tech professional at innovative and flourishing companies.At News UK, I’m a platform engineer that mostly interacts with cloud, systems, infrastructure and pipelines. I love leading on projects, delivering releases/changes, problem solving and fuelling growth. I also love knowing the details of business objectives to drive excellence in fulfilling them.I’m also a seasoned promoter possessing an extensive skill set ranging from events management, to music journalism and production. With over 10+ years experience, I’ve been making my mark on the live music industry. RUN IT was founded in 2017 and has continued to grow year on year and will have delivered over 20 events just within the year of 2022 alone. Through the support and value that RUN IT has been recognised for, I’ve been able to work with Boxpark, Global Radio, Red Bull, Roundhouse, The Great Escape Festival, The Hard Rock Cafe and The Youth Music Charity just to name a few. I’m also passionate about educating and mentoring artists, creatives and budding tech professionals, especially those from underprivileged and underrepresented backgrounds.As a serial self-starter, I’ve never known what it’s like not to take charge and create my own path.
